在一個並置中的對比與比較，不是目的而是方法。對時間的反思（拍攝120mm硬照和超八菲林的時間、硬照和超八的拍攝長度、觀者看的時間、藝術家自己反覆觀看的時間，無論在現實中或我們的知覺中因時間流逝的改變），和對空間的再訪 (裕民坊這個地方，和在畫廊重現這個地方的民族誌情況）都是方法。熔合那些方法，讓個人遇上文化、日常性遇上政治、回憶遇上快樂與痛苦、讓內在最深的情緒遇上「社區更新」的現實和香港這十年內的變化，是這個作品的重點。

Contrasting and comparing in a juxtaposition are not the objective but methods. Reflecting on time (time of shooting for 120mm photography and super 8 film, duration of shooting, time of audience’s viewing, time of artists’ re-viewing, and the changes over time in reality and in our perception) and revisiting on space (place of Yu Man Square and space in the gallery to re-present the place as its ethnographic presence) are also methods. Blending of these methods where personal meets the cultural, everyday-life-ness meets the political, memories meets happiness and pain, where innermost feelings meets the fact of “urban renewal” and changes in Hong Kong in the last ten years in general, are the theme of this artwork.
